Effective date and last updated: October 26, 2026

Forge & Fusion Academy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides hands-on soldering and electronics assembly training. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website (forgeandfusionacademy.org), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the website, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Class enrollment and scheduling requests: your name, email address, phone number, and the class session you ask to join.
  • Anything else you send us when you call, email, or write to us.

Information collected automatically

Our web hosting servers keep standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request. We use these logs to keep the website secure and working properly. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, including which pages are viewed and which buttons, such as call, email, and enroll buttons, are clicked. Google receives your IP address, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers for this purpose. Visits by our own signed-in staff are not counted.

Cookies

This website uses cookies for analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to control them.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions and enrollment requests, confirm class sessions, and arrange details and payment with you by phone or email. Payments are not collected through this website.
  • To follow up with you about the classes you asked about.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the rights, property, and safety of our students, staff, and others.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the website and our business, such as web hosting and email delivery. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Google. Fonts used on this website are loaded from Google, our class schedule page shows a Google Calendar, and our home page shows a Google Map of our location. When these load, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. Google’s handling of that information is described in its own privacy policy.
  • Scheduling and answering service. The “Enroll or Schedule a Class” buttons link to a separate website run by our answering and scheduling service provider. Information you enter there is handled under that provider’s own privacy practices.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, or when needed to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business changes. If our business is merged, sold, or reorganized, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, such as handling your enrollment, keeping business records, or meeting legal requirements. After that we delete or anonymize it.

5. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live (for example, Colorado or California), you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No website or method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Links to other websites

This website may link to websites run by others. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
